On behalf of the men & women of the Potomac Valley Fire Company, I would like to welcome you to the Potomac Valley Fire Company Website.
The Potomac Valley Fire Company has been serving the citizens of Southern Washington County with a group of dedicated volunteers since 1966 and Paid daytime Driver/Firefighter/EMT since 2016.
Thanks to the support of the community and the pride and dedication of our Volunteers & Paid staff, We have created an organization that we can all be proud of.
As your Fire Chief, my priorities are to continue the commitment of providing Staffing for our Emergency Apparatus, Quality Facilities, Apparatus, Training, and Equipment while operating under the limited budget we have, so our volunteers and paid staff have what they need to perform the services our community needs and deserve.
During the coming year, I will continue our recruitment effort for the recruitment of new volunteer members and continuing working with the Washington County Department of Emergency Services on additional staffing for the Potomac Valley Fire Company, Inc.
The Potomac Valley Fire Company, Inc. currently has 42 active members that range from responding members who handle emergency calls to administrative and support staff who handle the administrative, fund raising and support duties. The Potomac Valley Fire Company Inc. is always looking for those who would like to volunteer with us.
If you have an interest in making a difference in your community, feel free to stop by the station every Monday Evening at 7pm during our weekly training Nights (1st, 2nd & 3rd Mondays) and our Meeting Night (4th Monday of the Month) to meet our members, take a tour of the station and to see how you can help your community.
