This evening the members of Potomac Valley loaded up on Support 11-7 & Engine 11-2 and headed over to the annual Town of Boonsboro September 11th Remembrance Parade.
Thankfully the rain ended shortly before line up and held off for the parade.
It was an honor to attend this years parade again. The members of the PVFC would like to THANK the First Hose Company of Boonsboro (our south county partners at Station 6 & 8), the Town of Boonsboro for putting on such a great event this year and the Ladies Auxiliary of the First Hose Company of Boonsboro for the great dinner afterwards.
Each year the fire company and town put on this event to remember all of those who were lost on that terrible day in September of 2001 and those emergency workers still today who are sick and have passed from working at Ground Zero.
