Wind Advisory

Attention, Washington County residents! A Wind Advisory will be in effect from 6 PM Wednesday to 4 AM EST Thursday. Expect strong west winds of 20 to 30 MPH, with gusts of up to 50 MPH.

Here are some wind safety tips to keep in mind:
🔸 Secure loose outdoor objects that could be blown away or cause damage.
🔸 Stay indoors, if possible, and avoid going outside during periods of strong winds.
🔸 Be cautious while driving, especially on bridges and overpasses, as strong winds can make steering difficult.
🔸 If you encounter a downed power line, stay away and report it to the authorities immediately.
🔸 Keep an eye on local weather updates and be prepared to take action if conditions worsen.
